Sports Physicals
2013-14 VHSL Sports Participation Physicals will be Monday, June 10, 2013. The cost is $20, cash only. Click HERE for the physical form. Registration will begin in the main gym at 4:15 PM and run until 6:00 PM. You must be in line by 6 pm to get your physical. Please note that if you have a known physical issue that may prevent you from playing (ex.-injury, diabetes, epilepsy, heart murmur) you must bring documentation from your physician to be cleared to play. Math Tutoring
The KHS math club “The Mathletes” offers tutoring every Wednesday to ANY student needing help in Algebra 1 (Honors or Series), Geometry (Honors or Series), Algebra 2, and Algebra 2/Trig. Tutoring sessions will be held in room 714 from 2:10-3:00. Bring your materials from class and just show up. We’ll see you there!

Prom Information
The 2013 Kempsville High School Prom will be held at the Westin Hotel in Town Center on Friday, May 31, 2013 from
8-12 pm. Tickets will go on sale in room 816 April 29th. The cost is $60.00 until May 13th, then it will increase to $65.00. Please see Mrs. Salmon in room 816 for more information.

Seniors: If you have NOT ordered your cap and gown you can still go online at www.celebrategrad.com and order. May 10th is the third delivery date and the last delivery date is at graduation practice on June 11th
AP EXAM INFORMATION
If your child is registered to take an Advanced Placement exam, please click HERE for detailed information about testing locations and testing reminders. AP examinations will begin on Monday, May 6 and end on Friday May 17. Students must report to their testing location by 7 a.m. for morning exams and 12 p.m. for afternoon exams. Late students will not be admitted! On the day your child is registered to take an AP exam, s/he will be excused from school.

PSAT Information
PSAT Score Reports have been distributed to all students through the English classes. If you were unable to attend the PSAT information night, please click on the link HERE. Students were strongly encouraged to use the access code printed on the bottom of the score report to log into My College Quickstart, a free online college and career planning tool.
BYOD
On June 5, 2012, the School Board approved changes that will allow all students to use their own electronic devices in an academic setting in order to access the school division’s wireless network. The use of these devices is still limited to educational purposes only and the Administrative Team has developed user guidelines to insure the successful implementation of this program here at Kempsville High School. Montage, the school’s literary and arts magazine, invites you to view the 2011-2012 edition! This is the first Montage that is available online, and we encourage you to feast your eyes upon its colorful pages. Our magazine features art, poetry, prose, and photography created by students of Kempsville.
