Beach Girls Rock
A “Beach Girls Rock” Empowerment Series Seminar will be held on Saturday, March 15th, from 8-12, at Kempsville High School. Our theme is Together We Can Make A Difference. This event is for all 8th and 9th grade girls enrolled in Virginia Beach schools, and will feature a keynote address by Judge Tanya Bullock, a panel question and answer session, and participatory workshops on law, international affairs and politics. This special event is being organized by the VBCPS Office of Equity Affairs and our own Leading Ladies of Kempsville. We hope to see lots of our ninth grade Lady Chiefs in attendance for this awesome event!

Activity Bus Information
Activity buses are available to students involved in school sponsored activities such as athletics, clubs or tutoring. The buses are scheduled to depart from in front of the Auditorium Foyer at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students are advised to be prompt and wait outside of the Auditorium. StudentVUE Access for All Secondary Students!
Students can now access their grades and attendance through the Student Information System StudentVUE. For instructions on how to access this resource, click HERE. Please note that while this site is available from anywhere with internet access, the route used to access it depends on whether working from with the school network (from school) or outside the school network (from home).
Student Email Accounts for ALL High School Students
Click HERE to get more information about student email accounts. Virginia Beach City Public Schools is providing all high school students with an "@vbstudents.com" email account to be used for educational purposes. Students are asked to read through the Office 365 Student Setup Instruction for clear instructions on how to synchronize their school email account with their current network information and get started using Office 365. Students are also asked to read the Student Email Guidelines which provides information about acceptable use and etiquette.

SOL Testing Schedule

The Writing SOL test multiple choice section originally scheduled for Monday, March 3rd and Tuesday, March 4th have been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The multiple choice sections will now be administered during the English 11 blocks on Friday, March 7th and Monday, March 10th. The room assignments have not changed. SOL tutoring for any subject is offered daily during study blocks. If it is an A day, it is in room 801. If it is a B day, it is in room 602.
Additional math tutoring is available in the library every 4A.
