Kempsville High College Visits
Many colleges and universities will be sending representatives to Kempsville High School and we welcome students to come meet with as many of the admissions counselors as they would like. However, they will need to place their name(s) on the sign up sheets in the "college visit" binder in the guidance department. Students should sign up at least 24 hours prior to the arrival of the specific admissions counselor that they would like to meet with. On the day of the visits, passes will be distributed to the students allowing them to come to our department for the informational sessions with the requested colleges or universities.
Please visit the guidance office for more information.
Parking privileges are available to all students with a verified Virginia Driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. The school or the School Division accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles while on school property. Parking applications may be picked up in the main office and also are available on Kempsville's web site by clicking HERE. Cost of a parking permit is $40.00 by cash only. Students without a valid parking decal may not park on school grounds. Reserved spaces for faculty members are clearly marked, and students may not use those spaces. Any student in violation of these parking regulations will have his or her car retained on school premises and subject to a monetary fine of $35.00.
